nick and i had two days off this week. two days!!! that’s a full week-end. sadly, we did not spend these two precious days sipping gin & tonics on the veranda whilst playing cards & dominos. that would be the good-southern-country-living-hot-&-humid weekend i have envisioned. instead we spent them painting floors…chipping up old awful linoleum…fighting spider webs…putting up screens….finding old couches
both of us sort of love it. this renovation business. but part of it is starting to get to me. parts like how this couch has been sitting on our lawn now for 2 days with no immediate plans to get itself inside.
at least rudy likes his new dog bed.
